At our campus, you’re guaranteed to love your roommate.
We have designed our on-campus training courses to provide you and your new dog with the highest opportunity to succeed together. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Dogs Inc family, and we think you’ll feel at home with us.
P.S. Your only roommate is your new dog!
We make sure you feel welcome and comfortable.
Each private room is outfitted with a private patio, double bed, fresh linens, and daily fresh towels in your private bathroom. Stylish room furnishings include a desk and chair, closet organizing systems, cable TV, a ceiling fan, a small refrigerator, and a dog crate for your new best friend. There’s even a hotel-style robe waiting for you. Our hospitality staff keeps your room clean, and staff is on-premises 24 hours a day. Washing machines, dryers, and laundry detergent are also available.
Your dog has been carefully trained. Now it’s your turn to learn.
Before you arrive, we will train your dog with your unique needs in mind. When you first arrive at our 33-acre campus, we’ll first introduce you to classmates and instructors. After that, you’ll soon meet your new dog and quickly become familiar with the skills and cues they’ve has already mastered.
We set you up for success.
During your stay, you’ll enjoy a low student-to-instructor ratio as you learn the concepts and techniques needed to work together as a team. You’ll find that the skills and affection of our dogs, the patience and compassion of our instructors, the tried-and-true structure of our training, and the friendships you’ll form with classmates enable an outstanding learning experience.
Instruction that covers it all.
During your time here, lectures will cover important subjects such as basic and advanced cues, public access laws, etiquette, dog body language, voice inflection, and other relevant topics. You’ll learn how to take care of your dog—feeding, grooming, health maintenance, and more.
You and your classmates will work with your dogs in a variety of situations and locations that mirror your home and community environments. While you may step outside of your comfort zone at first, you’ll quickly feel proud of all the progress you will make.
Special events during your stay.
Match Day
The day after your arrival, you’ll meet your new dog for the first time in the privacy of your room.
Picture Day
Our staff photographer will take photos, and we will provide digital photos of you and your dog, as well as a class photo to remember your time with us. We will also provide a special ID with you and your dog’s photo.
Puppy Raiser Day
As a puppy, your new dog spent about a year with a volunteer family who loved and taught them to live in a home environment. They do it for a number of reasons, but mostly to help someone exactly like you—and we think you should meet. Depending on circumstances, we’ll schedule a day when you can either meet your puppy raiser in person, or participate in a phone or Zoom call.
“I was in shock. I was like, ‘This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen.’”
