Discovery Day offers a glimpse into our dogs’ incredible journeys. See firsthand the love, dedication, and training that prepare them for the extraordinary destinies that await.
We invite you to a day of exploration where you will…
• Witness the magic of our littlest pups as they explore life in Puppy Academy.
• Learn about our dogs’ higher education and career planning at Canine University.
• Be amazed at our guide dog and service dog demonstrations.
• Learn about the joys of becoming a volunteer puppy raiser with our flexible options of 3, 6, or 12 months.
• Explore our on-campus gift shop for adorable t-shirts, pet gifts, and more.
• Get your questions answered and learn more about Dogs Inc’s life-changing mission at our information station.
• Experience our multisensory Beyond the Dark presentation.
• Enjoy lunch at food trucks right here on campus! *Food is available for purchase.

Things to know before you go:
• Discovery Day takes place on our campus at 4210 77th St E Palmetto, Fl 34221.
• Discovery Day will be canceled due to severe weather. If you have questions about whether your event will happen, please reach out to our staff at 941-729-5665.
• Recommended for guests of all ages.
• While we love dogs of all kinds, we kindly ask that no personal dogs (including guide and service dogs) be brought into buildings that house our puppies or dogs-in-training. Our little ones are still too young to be fully vaccinated, and we want to ensure their health and safety. Even our own students and alumni follow this guideline to protect them. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation!
